"I am the daughter of the earth, the hope of the future and the heartbeat of my people. Born and raised in Zimbabwe in a family where folk music was a daily staple. This profond heritage shaped my identity asan artist. I weave the spirit of the earth into sound, using the mbira as my conduit. This is the sacred iron of our land, forged to speak the languages of the soul. Through its intricate, interlocking melodies,I invite you into an authentic realm where every vibration is a memory and every song is a homecoming.
Today, I bring this authentic world to life through the sacred melodies of the mbira (thump piano), an instrument at the heart of my compositions.
My stye, a unique blendof Afro-Pop,Zimbabwean folk,and contemporary rythms, draws inspiration from great voices. In the spirit of Makeba's poise, Kidjo's fire and the ancestral 'mbira-magic' of Chiwoniso, I forge a sound that is unapologetically contemporary yet ancient at its core. I am not merely a singer; I am a custodian of the melodies that birthed us.
With 5 albums to my credit and international tours, I now offer a unique musical journey dedicated to harmony and mindfulness. "
